I have been fortunate to have been able to travel extensively in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle east, going around the world two times, once in 2008 and again in 2012.  Travel photography for me is mostly about research and showing up at the right place at the right time.  I enjoy examining found conditions in the locations I travel to – the dissimilarities to my daily surroundings always provides interesting subject matter.
