Over the years I’ve been fortunate to make connections that have enabled me to photograph concerts and live music events.  I typically work with long lenses and try to capture as much background atmosphere as possible.  As one artist once advised me, “try not to shoot upwards from directly below me in the press pit – it makes me look like I have a double chin.”
